TP-Link ER605W Omada AC1200 Gigabit Wi-Fi Gateway

TP-Link ER605W Omada AC1200 Gigabit Wi-Fi Gateway

- AC1200 Dual-Band WiFi (867 Mbps on 5 G + 300 Mbps on 2.4 G) *

Product Description TP-Link ER605W Omada AC1200 Gigabit Wi-Fi Gateway is a business-class router that combines wired networking, wireless connectivity, and advanced security in a single device. It supports dual-band AC1200 Wi-Fi, delivering speeds of up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band , making it suitable for small offices, retail stores, and advanced home users who need reliable wireless access. Product Features Standout features: multi-WAN support, which allows you to connect multiple internet service providers for load balancing and automatic failover. This helps maintain internet connectivity if one connection goes down and can distribute traffic across available WAN links for improved performance. The gateway includes five Gigabit Ethernet ports: with flexible WAN/LAN configuration. These ports enable high-speed wired connections for computers, switches, network-attached storage (NAS), IP phones, and other network devices, while allowing administrators to configure ports according to their network requirements. For secure remote access: the ER605W offers comprehensive VPN support, including WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPSec, L2TP, PPTP, and GRE. These protocols enable employees or administrators to securely connect to the office network from remote locations while protecting sensitive data during transmission. As part of the Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) ecosystem: the ER605W can be centrally managed through the Omada Controller or cloud platform. Network administrators can monitor devices, configure settings, apply policies, and troubleshoot the network remotely from a single dashboard, simplifying management across multiple sites. The gateway provides a robust set of security features: including a stateful firewall, DoS attack protection, IP/MAC/URL filtering, access control lists (ACLs), VLAN support, and Quality of Service (QoS). These features help protect the network from unauthorized access while allowing administrators to prioritize critical applications such as voice, video conferencing, or business services. The device also supports multiple operating modes: allowing it to function as a gateway within a larger Omada deployment or as a standalone router. It integrates seamlessly with Omada access points, switches, and controllers, making it a scalable solution for organizations planning to expand their network infrastructure over time. Designed for continuous operation: the ER605W features four external high-gain antennas to provide stable wireless coverage for small office environments. While its built-in Wi-Fi is sufficient for moderate wireless needs, it is intended primarily as a gateway, with larger deployments benefiting from dedicated Omada access points for broader coverage and higher client capacity.
