TP-Link TL-SG1005P 5-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch with 4-Port PoE+

TP-Link TL-SG1005P 5-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch with 4-Port PoE+

- Plug and Play . Allows for easy deployment without the need for a technician.

Product Description The TP-Link TL-SG1005P V5 is a 5-port unmanaged Gigabit switch designed to provide both network connectivity and Power over Ethernet (PoE). It has five 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports, allowing connected devices to communicate at Gigabit speeds without requiring complicated configuration. Product Features The switch supports PoE+ on four ports: providing up to 30 watts per port and a total PoE power budget of 65 watts. This allows it to power compatible devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones directly through Ethernet cables. It features Plug and Play operation: meaning no software installation or advanced configuration is required. Simply connect the network devices and the switch automatically manages the connection. TL-SG1005P V5 also supports PoE Auto Recovery: which can automatically detect and restart unresponsive PoE-powered devices. This is particularly useful for IP surveillance cameras and other devices that need reliable continuous operation. Another feature is Extend Mode: which allows PoE transmission over distances of up to 250 metres when enabled. This is useful for installations where cameras or access points are located far from the switch, although the network speed is reduced when using this mode. Provides IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ support: allowing both data and electrical power to be transmitted through a single Ethernet cable. This reduces the need for separate power adapters and simplifies installations, especially for IP cameras, access points, and VoIP phones. The switch has a 65 W PoE power budget: which allows multiple PoE devices to operate simultaneously. Power is automatically allocated according to the requirements of connected devices, helping to manage the available power efficiently. PoE Auto Recovery feature: continuously monitors connected PoE devices. If a powered device becomes unresponsive, the switch can automatically detect the problem and restart the device without requiring manual intervention. Extend Mode: allows PoE transmission over Ethernet cables up to 250 metres , which is useful for long-distance installations such as CCTV systems. In this mode, the connected device operates at a lower network speed. Supports Auto Negotiation and Auto MDI/MDIX: allowing it to automatically detect the connection type and adjust accordingly. This means users do not normally need to worry about using a specific type of Ethernet cable for connecting devices. It has a non-blocking switching architecture: with a switching capacity of up to 10 Gbps , enabling multiple ports to transfer data efficiently at the same time. Fanless cooling design: so it operates quietly while reducing moving parts that could require maintenance. This makes it suitable for offices, homes, classrooms, shops, and surveillance installations. It is an unmanaged switch: so it does not require an IP address, management software, or complicated network configuration. Devices can simply be connected to the appropriate ports and begin communicating automatically. Supports IEEE 802.3x flow control: which helps regulate data transmission between connected devices and reduces the possibility of packet loss when network traffic becomes heavy. Compact design: makes it easy to install where space is limited, while its metal housing provides durability and helps with heat dissipation.
